Education: BA Clark University, MSW Simmons College

Harriet has worked with elders and families as both a nursing home mental health counselor and as a hospital social worker in facilities throughout the Boston area, including Carney Hospital, Eliot Healthcare, the Armenian Home and The Bostonian. She has extensive clinical experience and worked privately for many years. Her work on a research project entitled, "Aging at Home: A Study of Brookline Seniors 85 and Older" rounds out her knowledge of the issues elders face.

Harriet’s earlier work in child welfare led her to become a certified mediator under the auspices of Mass Families for Kids. Her patient and calm demeanor mixed with a depth of skill and experience in dealing with complicated issues make her an effective care manager.
