Parkinson’s Family Support

The Parkinson’s Family Support program was initiated by two donors of the Jewish Family & Children's Services of Greater Boston, who recognized that their fathers’ Parkinson’s disease affected their entire families, particularly their mothers, who are the caregivers.

The program offers:

  • Monthly support group for individuals with Parkinson’s and their caregivers
  • Free one-time home safety evaluations and family consultations
  • Information and referral services
  • Wellness programming
  • Presentations and training programs on Parkinson’s care
  • Support group for adult children of people with Parkinson’s
