Our Expertise
Your Elder Experts is a team of experienced Geriatric Care Managers, most of whom are licensed independent clinical social workers (LICSWs) and Master's level clinicians.
Your Elder Experts was founded in 1999 and has grown into one of the Boston area's leading Geriatric Care Management practices. Karen Wasserman, the director, brings more than 20 years of experience helping elders and their families with major life transitions.
Our staff has a wealth of expertise, from previous positions at nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, area Agencies on Aging, and work-life consulting. We have Care Managers with specialized knowledge of Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, ALS, and Alzheimer's and other dementias.
Because we are part of a large, comprehensive human service agency, JF&CS, with a 150-year history, Your Elder Experts has the unique ability to coordinate with up to 35 other programs in the Agency, including Guardianship, Friendly Visitors, the Parkinson's Family Support program, and with our Mental Health Staff.
