Ruth Natanson has extensive social work experience with older adults in a variety of settings: as the medical social worker in a rehabilitation unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, as a consultant to several area nursing homes, and as an eldercare consultant at a work/life company.

She has expertise in long term care insurance, as well as years of experience with different kinds of cancer. She has served as an advocate for patients undergoing multiple medical treatments and run groups for children of cancer patients. In addition, she is a trained family therapist who worked privately for many years.

She has a personal understanding of caregiving from coordinating care for several relatives, including moving a parent with Alzheimer’s into assisted living. She is a nationally Certified Care Manager (C-ASWCM) and is a member of NASW and both the national and New England chapters of NAPGCM.
